Day 1 and 2 in review

I guess it is going to take me a while to get into the blogging part! I think 'I'll leave it until later then I can give a full report' but them I'm tooooo tired!!!

So, foodwise all going well - lots of salads, eggs and almonds!!! I will become more adventurous I promise!!

Feel much better already - not too much detoxing to go through as I do try to eat clean generally......my downfalls are late night chocolate, 'testing' my childrens food while cooking and eating the crusts that come back from school each day!!!!

Exercise wise - I did an ashtanga yoga class on Monday plus the 4 minute meltdown. Tuesday I did a conditioning swim class plus the mobility matrix. I have a triathlon on Friday, so I think I will concentrate on mobility and stretching for the next few days - Dax induced DOMS are the worst and so will delay them until after my 'race'.

My two girls finished school yesterday so I should be able to get myself organised a little better!!

Hope everyone else is doing well.

Firmer by Forty

Today is day 1 of the London Personal Trainer Dax Moys' 'Elimination Diet Summer Challenge' and the start of my plan to be a bit less wobbly by the time I turn 40 in September.

We have been split into two teams to add a little competition - makes me feel a bit better about the latte, burger and crunchie bar I had yesterday, took a pound for the team!!!!

My beginning weight is 128.6lbs - meaning I have regained 5.6 of the 9lbs I lost during my last 30 day challenge 6 months ago.............

My measurements are:

Bust   32"
Waist   28"
Hips (widest)   39"
Arm   10.5"
Thigh @ 4"    18"
Thigh @ 8"    21.5"

Back to square one in the hip and thigh department, but bust the same as at the end of the last challenge - oh the joy of being pear shaped!!!

Will try to take my 'before' photos tonight.......

I will be posting daily to let you know how I am doing.
