Day 3 (well actually that was yesterday!)

Another good day - got up at 5.45 and did a power circuit before heading out to the Calgary Stampede Parade. Breakfast was some almonds and fruit.
Lunch out, roasted cauliflower with fried chickpeas and arugula - love that i can eat well in restaurants quite easily.
Meltdown in the afternoon before my daughters soccer game and then chicken, oatcakes spread with hummus and celery for supper - not very exciting but everyone else had McDonalds and that was all I could muster the energy for!!!

Day 2 of my summer challenge!

Another good day - phew, always find day 2 the hardest! Especially as I weighed the same today as yesterday - grrr! Did spend some time looking longingly at the lemon meringue pie in the fridge - I will force the family to finish it after supper.....
4x4 meltdown, 4 rounds of ICP and a bike ride today - love that we only have to do two workouts a day - feels so good to do three and be an over achiever than to do three and feel like a failure (if you know what I mean - people with previous Dax experience).
Food wise - yogurt, berries, nuts and seeds for breakfast. Hummus, salad and chicken for lunch. Supper was a bit picky - boiled egg, mushrooms, chicken, celery. Good and tired so off to bed early.
Stampede parade tomorrow - yee haw!!

Enjoying eating so well (why I don't do it all of the time is beyond me, I feel crap when I eat crap). Off to make some breakfast - berries and yogurt with a few nuts and seeds, delicious!

Will do my updates at the end of the day, but needed to get this organised......

Day 21

Swim meet yesterday so up at 5am to do my BD matrix - really notice a difference in the legovers depending on what time of day I do them - early morning having less flexibility.
Had some almond toast and a boiled egg for breakfast and packed lettuce rolls, cucumber, celery, red onion, boiled eggs and tuna for lunch and some almonds and sunflower seeds for snacks. Felt very shiny halo as I declined all of the food for the volunteers (the fruit and high carb veggies were VERY tempting and I had many many moments of 'really, should I be eliminating whole food groups that include delicious fresh fruit and vegetables?'). The cookies, brownies, croissant sandwiches and granola bars offered no temptation so was pleased with that. Have to also confess to a little jealousy towards those who were regulars at the food table but had great figures!!
Out for supper and so had salmon with steamed green beans and broccoli (I left the potatoes and red pepper) and green salad - have to say that although I live in North America where it is incredibly easy to have a VERY poor diet, eating out and remaining ED friendly is not difficult, we went to a modest kid friendly place and I had numerous choices.
Anyway, left the house at 6am and got home at 8.45pm exhausted so only 1 round of exercise yesterday - am OK with that, took my supps and went to bed at 9.15.
Weighed and measured today - only 1lb and 1" (as I have added and inch to my bust - blah) but progress all the same. Looking forward to the fast tomorrow - find that sooooo much easier than low carb!!
Going to enjoy the exercises today and psyche myself up for the BWW tomorrow - good luck everyone!!!

Day 18 - I think, i'm losing track, or my mind, or both!!

It is only 4.30 and I have done my exercises for the day - bonus!! Well, the three set out - cardio and I are taking a break at the moment!!

Doing the wave, my first of this challenge, and all ok but Borrrring - my fault, I am being unimaginative.

Break was chicken and almonds
Lunch a fab mushroom and onion omelette
Supper - hmmmm, not sure what it will be, maybe salmon, maybe chicken - either way with a leek, onion, courgette, celery mix cooked in butter.

Snacked on almonds (not toooo many) and celery

See, boring, but only two and a bit more days to go - hope my thigh fat had read the article about the wave and fat loss!!!!!

Off to drop off daughter 2 at swimming and daughter 1 at soccer, enjoy the rest of the day everyone
